These take place on Saturdays from 9am to 5pm.

The total cost is around £67, which includes a required text book and the certification fee.
I have booked a place for myself on Saturday the 20th March 2010, along with a couple of paddling buddies of mine.

Apart from buying your own radio, bear in mind that the club has a few VHF radios for use at club events, so this could be a useful qualification to have.
