Welcome to St Austell Canoe Club. We paddle every Thursday evening in the summer at Porthpean Beach. These sessions include the opportunity to work towards the BCU Star Awards in kayaks and canoes.

In the winter we run Thursday evening pool training sessions at Polkyth Leisure Centre.

We also run a number of trips throughout the year which are organised by club members and discussed on our website forum.

Here is some of what we do . . .

The club welcomes new members of all abilities, from absolute beginner to seasoned paddler. If you are interested in joining the club, then see membership for details of how to join. Alternatively, just come along to one of our summer open water sessions at Porthpean, or a winter pool session at Polkyth to see if kayaking is for you.

We have a number of boats plus other equipment available for hire at our Porthpean clubhouse. These can be used for both open water and pool sessions, so you don't need to buy before you can try.
